Money Vs. Love?

I’ve always thought this a shallow question. Money is not a substitute for love and vice versa. People need love. People need money too.

However, I do ponder a similar question: If it ever came down to being happily married or financially successful, what would you choose?

In all honesty, I wouldn’t mind having both. Sipping margaritas on my porch, watching the sun sink into the sky over the beach, cradled in the arms of a ripped, shirtless god. Who wouldn’t want that?

On the other hand, I was raised by and around strong single women. I watched them brace all the odds to raise stand-up kids and lead happy lives.

Don’t get me wrong. I am a romantic. I believe in ‘the one.’ (I also think there’s nothing wrong with sampling the bar as you wait for him, or her). But, I don’t get sleepless nights over the idea.

I guess what I’m saying is, if God placed a faat check and a hot, wonderful man on the table and said I could only have one… sorry would-be husband,

But I need to pack for Paris.🍷🍨
