I was complaining to a friend of mine the other day about how I never meet people who share my interests, which is both true and frustrating. She looked at me all blank-like and said, ‘well, how can you when you hang out in all the wrong places?’
I laughed, partly because she was right and partly because the only place I hang out in is at home. I’ve decided to take her advice, and I’m going to start spending more time in banks.😂😂
Jokes aside, 2021 is that year for me. The year when I find my crowd. I’m always saying I’ll do it, but I never put in the work. I don’t attend events, answer DMs, or ask people questions. I take them at face value, get bored, and quit.
And I realize now that without me trying, I will forever be stuck in the same patterns. Having the same old conversations that do nothing for my fancy.
So to 2021, meeting new friends, putting in the work, and liking it.🥂
Great read. Last year taught me that people can be way more than what they seem. So as you set off on finding your crowd, look around you and try to get to know the people already in your life too. Can’t wait to hear how it goes. Good luck!

Thank you Dave. I do overlook the people around me sometimes. Will work on that and keep you posted. Thank you!
